Commissions
I accept commissions for paintings, murals and decorative or restoration
projects. I'm willing to travel to complete your special project. I have
dual Italian/American citizenship so I can easily and legally work in
both the U.S. and the E.U.
General
The most important thing I can offer is a professional attitude
.I stand behind my work and strive for your satisfaction. I separate the
commissioned work from my own personal output and try
to see myself as the means to satisfy your artistic vision. In general
visual art will start with a color sketch for your approval.
Once the scope of work has been decided I'll ask for a contract
and 1/3 of the money down. I try to include a client in the
process as much as possible and have never had any unhappy customers.
Pricing
I've listed some prices below to give a general idea. Obviously the key
to pricing is the level of complexity. When I'm thinking about a price
I'm thinking about how long it will take me. A simple subject will be
less than a more complex subject. Please contact me for a free consultation.
Commissioning Oil Paintings
I'm happy to execute commissions of any subject including portraits,
animals, or virtually anything. My strong drawing and rendering skills
enable to handle all subjects. I can work from your designs or photographs
or I can do the design work. As of Sept. 2007 my base prices are as follows.

16 by 20 in. (40 by 50 cm ) - $1200
20 by 24 in. (50 by 60 cm. ) -1600
24 by 30 in. (60 by 80 cm. ) - 2400
30 by 40 in. ( 80 by 100 cm. ) - 3600
Commissioning Murals / Wall Decorations
I do both interior and exterior murals .Interior murals can be
done either in my studio on canvas for later application to the wall or
directly on a wall. I'll use oil or acrylics. Exterior murals painted
on stone can be done in acrylics or silicate emulsion paint, an extremely
long lasting and durable paint specially designed for masonry. I'm happy
to travel for your special project
Murals start from about $25 sq. foot.
Illustration
I do storyboards and spot illustration.See some illustration samples here.
Faux Finishing / Architectural Art Restoration
I am extremely experienced with these tasks and can do anything
from a simple rag roll to fine marbleizing and gilding. I bid jobs out
at $300 a day plus materials.See samples here.
Day Rates for Film or Photo Shoots, etc.
$300 a day or $2000 a week. Available worldwide. My skills include
scene painting, basic carpentry and storyboarding.See some samples here
